Dr. Rajpal Singh R L is an eminent interventional cardiologist with experience in performing both elective and primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and complex device therapy. With over 17 years experience, his proficiency in managing the acute cardiac emergencies is profound. Dr. Rajpal has performed over 1500 radial access angiography and over 1800 PCIs as a first operator. He practices and firmly believes in evidence based medicine. He regards that effective communication with family and patient is one of the cornerstones of delivering an excellent patient centric clinical care.
He has been an Interventional Cardiologist at Wolverhampton Heart and Lung Centre (UK) and is also a Recipient of the Prestigious European Society of Cardiology WG10 Interventional Fellowship for 2005-2006 and Clinical Excellence Award by the National Health Service, 2011. In addition to complex coronary interventions, he has been a clinical lead for both Brady-arrhythmia management and complex device therapies. He has implanted more than 1000 pacemakers and about 250 ICD/CRT procedures to his credit.
Professional Qualifications
Dr. Rajpal Singh is an Alumni of Bangalore Medical College, and did his MRCP from Royal College of Physicians, Ireland. He was awarded the CCST in cardiology from Post Graduate Medical Training Board (UK). He has been also awarded the ESC W10 Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in 2005 – 2006. He is a honorable member of British Cardiovascular Interventional Society (BCIS) and European Association of Cardiovascular Percutaenous Interventions (EAPCI).
